Most of us, in our general education programs, have something to say about promoting students' moral/ethical development. According to Robert Sternberg:
College can produce students who are smart and knowledgeable but ethically challenged. By alerting students to the steps in ethical behavior and the potential difficulty of going through them all, students may come to understand why it is so easy to slip into unethical behavior and be more likely to think and behave ethically.
